Omar launched Phi Capital Investments with his brother, Ryan, in April 2014, serves as Managing Director to the company and is a founding member of the Board. Omar and Ryan have worked together for the past 20 years and started developing their first social housing schemes back in 2006 (with a block of flats for Orbit Group). Since that time, they have been responsible for successfully delivering affordable homes to over 1,000 individuals and families.
Omar holds an MSc in Property Investment and Finance from the College of Estate Management and is MRICS qualified through the Property Finance and Investment Pathway. Omar holds two further degrees; a PgDip in Publishing from the University of Plymouth and a BEd (Hons) in History from the University of Exeter. He is about to embark on his second MSc in Social Business and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics.
Away from social housing, investment and study, Omar is an avid rugby fan (Quins and England) a non-stop bookworm (anything to do with space travel, history and just about anyone’s biography) and has been known to partake in the odd glass of red wine every now and again.
